Prior to joining PwrdBy, Courtney attended Long Beach City College where he majored in human psychology. His passion for football earned him a full scholarship to play for Idaho State University. 3 torn ACL’s later, Courtney immersed himself back to psychology. He started as a research assistant and is now a proud user interface designer at Pwrdby.
Brent is a Managing Partner at 305 Innovative Solutions, an advisory firm that provides strategic, financial, and transactional services to early stage businesses.
Brent has founded, managed, and invested in companies in industries including technology, healthcare, specialty finance, and automated merchandising. Brent worked previously as an M&A investment banker at Deutsche Bank Securities and private equity investment professional at H.I.G. Capital, where he worked with gaming, industrial, chemicals, and business services companies. He received an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BA from Harvard University, and currently spends time with early education and K-12 education nonprofits in South Florida.
Paul Ghiz is an accomplished technology entrepreneur and creative executive who helps organizations accelerate revenue and mission impact. In 1997, he founded DonorDrive, an enterprise nonprofit digital fundraising platform and services company. Over the last two decades, Paul has led his company in delivering innovations, progressive digital strategies and user experiences for hundreds of causes across all major categories including Health, Disease, Disorders, Human Services, Higher Education, International Relief and Corporate Social Responsibility. In 2018, he had a successful strategic exit and today still remains a key executive driving growth for DonorDrive and its parent company, General Atlantic. Prior to starting DonorDrive, Paul helped design and build the first generation of web properties for E.W. Scripps Company and its affiliated stations. Over his career, he has held Adjunct Faculty positions at his alma mater Miami University in Ohio as well as contributed and published numerous writings on design, marketing and technology. Paul is an active Advisor and Mentor at Stony Brook University’s Business School and Innovation Center. He resides outside New York City with his family and coaches travel youth baseball.
